16 - 19 Bursary Fund

All students aged 16 - 19 who believe they might struggle with the costs of full-time education are welcome to apply for the 16 - 19 Bursary. Please see guidance documents attached to support your understanding of the bursary which will be awarded at the discretion of the school. Chislehurst School for Girls will decide when bursaries will be paid and have set the conditions students should meet to be a recipient of the bursary which relates to attendance.

Students most in need will be eligible to receive the bursary:

People in care
Care leavers
Students claiming Universal Credit
Disabled young people in receipt of Personal Independence Payment or Employment and Support Allowance or Disability Living Allowance

Other students facing genuine financial difficulties such as those in receipt of Free school meals and Young carers can be awarded a bursary at the discretion of Chislehurst School For Girls.
